What Is Paleo?
Paleo is a lifestyle. It is the ONLY method of eating that works with your genetics to stay lean, strong and full of energy. Paleo eating has been shown to reduce the risk of numerous degenerative disease, including alzheimers, diabetes, cancer, and, of course, obesity. The paleolithic diet emphasizes eating fruits and vegetables, lean meats, seafood, and nuts and seeds. It is a lifestyle that is based on our ancestry and biology. Eating the paleo way will decrease inflammation as well as help you have balanced energy throughout the day. It will also help with you sleep better and aid in burning stored fat.

What Is Zone?
Zone eating was designed by Dr. Barry Sears. It is eating the optimal ratio of macronutrients (protein, carbohydrate, and fat) to acheive hormonal balance. This ratio is measured in blocks. One (1) block consists of seven (7) grams of protein, nine (9) grams of carbohydrates, and 1.5 grams of fat. The number of blocks necessary per meal or per day varies on the individual, but it is important that in all meals you eat are in blocks and to not leave out a macronutrient. This is the primary way to remain hormonally balanced throughout the day. The primary focus of the zone is hormone balance.

What Is Paleo Zone?
Paleo Zone is the best of both worlds. It gives you the macronutrients you need to be hormonally balanced while giving you the best foods for your body to reduce health risks. Paleo Zone refers to eating zone blocks AND choosing your macronutrients from the paleo lifestyle.

What Is Primal?
For the most part Primal is Paleo plus a few added dimensions, the biggest being that Primal will include dairy in the list of "ok" foods. Also, a primal diet includes the use of saturated fats, such as butter. In following a primal path to eating, you will find alcohol is allowed on the "cheat days."

How Many Calories Are In My Food?
Eatology prefers not to count calories. Instead, we encourage Zone philosophies, which is calculated in "blocks." However, we recognize a calorie is a calorie. For your information, a 2B meal has about 155 calories, a 3B has about 230 calories (A 3B is 1/3 larger than a 2B).

What are the Heating Instructions?
We package our entrees in MICROWAVABLE safe containers. The containers reheat in the microwave but DO NOT heat lids. Please remove them!!!
Microwave
Perfectionist Method
From a frozen state, place lidless container in microwave for 2 minutes, remove protein and heat 2 more minutes, add protein back and heat 1-2min more stirring periodically.
Manly Beast Method
Rip lid off, toss in microwave for 5-6 min. May or may not need stirring. (stirring preferred)
Oven
Our containers are also oven ready (yes we thought of it all).
Remove lid from thawed container and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat on middle rack for 12-15 minutes.
Some of our customers have also heated a frozen entree in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20-22 minutes. If top of entrée starts to brown, place foil over container.
Other cooking tips
Cuplettes
Cutting cuplettes will help them to cook evenly after 2 minutes. Make sure not to overcook the carb in this entree.
Meatballs
following the Perfectionist Method seems to keep them the most tender.
Paleo Potato, Sweet Potato etc.
Heated best when stirred. We recommend stirring/tossing all entrees
See video showing how to heat your meals.

What about Weekend Food?
We can supply Eatology on weekends, but typically we encourage you to follow the snack list (which is really a meal list). Fifteen Eatology meals/with snack list roughly follow the 80/20 principle. This allows you a little freedom in your life and schedule.

When Is My Cheat Day?
We don't like to think of having a "cheat day." That term refers to people on a diet and Paleo is a way of life â not a diet. We follow the 80/20 rule. Paleo is eaten 80% of the time; zoned meals are eaten 20% of the time. The cool thing about our standard package is that it follows the 80/20 principle.

How Long Do The Meals Last In The Freezer?
Eating the meals within 4 weeks is best for quality and freshness. I have eaten 4 month old meals without a problem. With THAT being said, if you are eating so few meals that you have 4 week old entrees in your freezer, your nutrition is not what it should be. In order to get the results I guarantee, Paleo must be kept consistently. That means 80% of your meals are Paleo and the other 20% is at least Zoned.

How Long Do The Meals Last Thawed?
Less than a week. This is not recommended unless you plan to eat the meal within a day.

Do I Have To Workout?
"Sweat at least once a day." However, what you put in your mouth is 95% of it! I still guarantee results even if you refuse to sweat!

If I Place a Monthly Order, Do They Come All At Once?
No. Monthly orders are sent out every week to ensure variety and freshness. The full monthly discount is to be paid at the time of purchase. We prefer to ship consecutive weeks, however we understand that things come up and if given notice, we can work around life's curve balls. Please let us know!

What About My Food Allergies?
No Problem! We can work around almost everything! The only thing we haven't been able to do is strict vegetarian! Other than that we do our best! Just alert us when you place your order!

I'm A Picky Eater...
We like to think we cook better than most! We typically prefer to send you a standard order the first go around and take it from there (of course, we still work around allergies). Most people find themselves enjoying foods they thought they didn't like. Besides, most of the foods you may not like are probably the best for you! Once you receive our standard package we can then work on building a personal menu for you to suit your taste.

Would you like us to donate or sponsor your event?
